One Piece Chapter 1175: Sun God Descends!

Welcome back, everyone! The break week has finally given us some time to chill, linger on the possibilities, and recover from the wild ride of the recent chapters. We are back at it again to break down what is coming next in Elbaf.

Looking back at our 1174, it's safe to say Oda caught us entirely off guard. We didn't get the updates we expected on Brook, Sanji didn't rush in to avenge Robin, and "Killingham" stayed out of the fray. We expected a Straw Hat-heavy chapter, but instead, we got a parent-child focus and more Luffy and Loki.

But a new week means a new prediction board. For chapter 1175, we’re joined by the legendary Parvision to shoot the breeze about our favorite series. Here is our breakdown of what to expect in One Piece chapter 1175!

1. Imu Makes a Move & Brook Learns the Truth (90% Confidence)

It would be absolute madness for Imu not to appear in chapter 1175. We left off with Imu staring off into the void just as Luffy and Loki made their grand entrance. Imu is the only person who knows exactly what is going on, so we expect some major reactions whether that's nostalgia or pure PTSD.

As for our favorite musician, we predict we will see that Imu has dealt with Brook. However, even if Brook loses this clash, he won't walk away empty-handed. We believe Brook is going to discover something incredibly important like a fatal weakness or a key piece of lore regarding Princess Vivi before the dust settles.

2. St. Sommers Finally Takes Damage (80% Confidence)

Right now, St. Sommers is having way too much fun sitting on the sidelines laughing while Robin remains chained up by his thorns. He is right in the middle of everything, and it is time for someone to wipe that smile off his face. Whether it’s Sanji stepping up, the giant parents rushing in, or collateral damage from Luffy and Loki, we are highly confident that St. Sommers is going to take a massive hit next chapter and be forced to regenerate.

3. Luffy and Loki Clear the Board (70% Confidence)

Luffy and Loki are currently sitting at the top of the food chain on Elbaf. We predict that these two are going to casually deal with 90% of the island's immediate problems (minus the God Knights). Expect to see them effortlessly swat away nightmare monsters and put out the island's fires through sheer collateral power, reminding everyone exactly why they are top tiers.

4. Loki Unleashes a Unique Dragon Breath (100% Confidence)

You can't have a massive dragon and not give it a breath attack! But we don't think it will be standard fire. Loki has already used ice and lightning in his humanoid form, so we are expecting something entirely new maybe a hyperbeam, a soul-breath attack, or something wildly destructive.

  • The Oda Gag Factor: There is always that 10% chance Oda turns this into a massive joke. Instead of a majestic hyperbeam, Loki might just burp or unleash a poison gas attack. Either way, a breath attack is practically guaranteed.

  • No Hybrid Form Yet (75% Confidence): Don't hold your breath for Loki's hybrid form just yet. Oda loves to drag out these reveals, so we expect to spend the entirety of chapter 1175 with Loki in his massive, full-dragon state.

5. The Straw Hats Regroup (80% Confidence)

With all the chaos erupting, it is the perfect time for the Straw Hats (minus Luffy and Zoro) to finally group up, collect information, and figure out their next move. Nami, Sanji, Robin, and the others need to figure out what that giant dragon is. If Oda really wants to hype up this regrouping, this would be the perfect moment for Bonney and Lilith to finally reappear and join the huddle.

6. The Giants Acknowledge the Sun God (100% Confidence)

We’ve spent multiple chapters hearing about Nika, and now Luffy and Loki are out in the open. Expect some classic One Piece "chapter fluff" where the giants hear the heartbeat of the Sun God and have a brief, awe-struck conversation about the drums of liberation.

7. The Wildcard Theory: Jarul the Mythical Bird (10% Confidence)

We are venturing into crazy theory territory here, but hear us out. We know Loki represents the dragon (Nidhogg), and we've seen imagery of the squirrel (Ratatoskr). In Norse mythology, there is a third animal: the eagle. What if Jarul, the oldest and historically "strongest" giant on the seas, is the wielder of the mythical bird Devil Fruit? If things hit the fan, we might just see this geriatric giant crash out and transform to defend his homeland.

What do you guys think of these predictions for One Piece chapter 1175? Are we locked in, or are we jumping the gun on the timing again? Let us know your own predictions!
